Staycation 2024 in Koblenz: Culinary experience days on your own doorstep

Staycation is entering the next round: this year, Koblenz-Touristik is once again inviting locals and visitors from the region and beyond to rediscover Koblenz. Under the motto "Koblenz on the tongue", participants will have the opportunity to (re)experience the local food and wine landscape with all their senses. Staycation takes place this year from 30.6.-1.7.

Originally conceived as an idea for Koblenz residents during the coronavirus pandemic, when vacations were temporarily banned and hotels had almost no guests, Staycation has since established itself. Once a year, Koblenz-Touristik offers locals and friends of the small city the opportunity to get to know Koblenz in a new and unusual way. Offers that are otherwise not bookable as a package in this form are brought together and made tangible for a maximum of 30 individuals in a group.

This year, for the first time, Staycation also offers the opportunity to extend the weekend and add a vacation day on Monday. The Staycation program begins on Sunday morning and ends on Monday afternoon.

Participants rediscover the city and experience the program with expert guidance. An overnight stay in a hotel at home is also an exciting experience for Koblenz residents.

"Our Staycation offer is so affordable because we see it as an invitation to get to know the city from a different perspective. Our aim is to get new ambassadors for our city," says Katharina Bersch, Head of the Tourism Department at Koblenz-Touristik.
