Romantic architecture in Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein

Tour of the Ehrenbreitstein District

This tour can also be booked as a private group tour

The Tour

Highlights: Birthplace of Clemens Brentano and Joseph Breitbach, narrow alleyways with baroque corners, parts of the Prussian garrison. The life of the people of Ehrenbreitstein was closely linked to the castle and, later, Ehrenbreitstein fortress. Experience the Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein district with its baroque houses and immerse yourself in a time when Ehrenbreitstein was the residence of the Archbishop and Elector of Trier (1690-1786). Here and there you will also discover how the Prussian garrison and fortress of Koblenz and Ehrenbreitstein shaped the town up until 1918.
