Winter Magic on the Water
Experience the special magic of Christmas on the water and enjoy an atmospheric Advent weekend on the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Your stay begins at the modern, centrally located sander Hotel, from where you can easily reach the festively decorated old town. The Koblenz Christmas Market awaits you there, spread across several historic squares with lights, scents and a Christmassy atmosphere.
Another highlight of your short holiday is the Christmas Garden at Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, which provides unforgettable impressions through spectacular light installations and soundscapes. Tickets are available directly from our tourist information office in the Forum-Confluentes or from the event organizer. You will be spoiled with culinary delights at the Cahua chocolate factory, where homemade specialties and hot drinks provide moments of pleasure.
On the second day, you will discover the romantic old town on a Christmas city tour. In addition to exciting insights into the history of Koblenz, you will hear festive anecdotes and round off the tour with a mulled wine. In the evening, it's time to cast off for an Advent cruise on the Rhine river: look forward to a festive 4-course menu, exquisite wines and atmospheric music in a unique setting.
After a sumptuous breakfast on Sunday, you will bid farewell to Koblenz; no doubt with many unforgettable memories of a magical Christmas weekend.

With our exclusive package, you will experience two nights in a hotel, atmospheric highlights at Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and the special atmosphere of the historic old town.
On Friday or Saturday evening, the fortress variety dinner show awaits you: a thrilling mixture of artistry, music and humour, accompanied by a multi-course meal in a unique setting. Saturday is all about history and Christmas magic. On a guided tour through the Koblenz old town, you will discover winding alleyways and learn exciting background information before strolling through the festively decorated Christmas market.
Another highlight is the Christmas Garden at the fortress, which offers a magical open-air experience through illuminated installations and enchanting soundscapes. Optionally, you can purchase a ticket for the production directly from our tourist information office in the Forum-Confluentes or via the organizer.
