Rhine Museum Koblenz e.V.
The story of life on and with the Rhine.
The Rhine Museum of Koblenz, founded in 1912, is a museum of cultural history that exhibits various aspects of life on the Rhine in a space of 1,300 m². Rhine Romanticism and the Neanderthals (an early people on the Rhine) are just as much the subject of the exhibitions as is the expansion of the Rhine and the development of the river's navigation.
The exhibition is not arranged in chronological order, but like a book, different "chapters" of life on the Rhine are opened. Visitors can view each room separately; always under the respective motto.
